Iryna Manukovska, paintings as mirrors, questions as method

Manukovska works at the intersection of mental health and cognition — using abstract oil painting, open-ended essays, immersive installations, workshops, and dance performance as connected tools for the same inquiry. Her core body of work is large-scale impasto oil on canvas, 60–200 cm. The sky is both a formal source and an umbrella metaphor: a position of distant observation, where things that feel urgent on the ground become readable differently.
Each series is structured around an open-ended question. The question becomes the title of each painting, serving as an entry point.
